CeraVe

CeraVe. Healthy skin without medication

The history of the CeraVe brand began in 2005, when the company of the same name was founded in France. In 2006, the first three CeraVe skin care products appeared on the market:

  • moisturising lotion;
  • moisturising cream;
  • cleansing and moisturising cream-gel.

All of them were enriched with fats found in the stratum corneum (ceramides 1, 3 and 6-2). The product is manufactured using a special MVE technology. Behentrimonium methosulphate is used as an emulsifier. It forms spheres consisting of several concentric layers, resembling onions in structure.

Since 2017, CeraVe has been owned by L'Oreal. Over the years, CeraVe products have become widely known in Europe, the United States and around the world.

Today, the CeraVe line includes skin care products developed and recommended by specialists in the field of dermatological cosmetology. They moisturise the skin, restore and strengthen its protective barrier. Many CeraVe products have been recommended by the National Eczema Association and are used by dermatologists as part of a comprehensive treatment for this serious condition.

The company adheres to the following core principles:

  • high quality;
  • effectiveness;
  • product availability.

SA Cream for Rough & Bumpy Skin is applied to dry, uneven, rough skin. It provides intense hydration, softens the skin, and promotes the exfoliation of dead skin cells.

The CeraVe line is also represented on the cosmetics market by other products:

  • Eye Repair Cream. Suitable for all skin types. When used, bags and circles under the eyes, signs of ageing, become less noticeable. Intensively moisturises the skin throughout the day.
  • Foaming Facial Cleanser. Designed for normal and oily skin on the face and body. Effectively cleanses the skin without damaging its protective barrier. Contains niacinamide, which soothes irritated skin.
  • Hydrating Facial Cleanser moisturising and cleansing cream-gel. Effectively protects dry and normal skin on the face and body from pollution and excess sebum. Moisturises the skin during cleansing. Dermatologists recommend applying the cream to skin prone to allergies.

To cleanse and moisturise dry, normal and atopic dermatitis-prone skin, the company's experts recommend using Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser, a moisturising cleansing oil that foams. People with normal and dry skin should wash with Hydrating Cream-to-Foam Cleanser. Hydrating Micellar Water is suitable for all skin types.

The advantage of CeraVe products is that they contain ingredients that do not damage the skin, are affordable and easy to use. CeraVe constantly monitors the quality of its products.
