Biatain Ag non-adherent is a soft, adaptable foam dressing with silver that has been proven to help accelerate the healing of infected wounds.

Unique 3D foam structure for excellent absorption:
Upon contact with wound exudate, the unique 3D foam structure of Biatain Ag bulges non-adherently towards the wound bed, thus ensuring excellent absorption - even under compression.

Designed to prevent infections:
The sustained silver release profile ensures a homogeneous distribution of silver ions and provides a lasting antibacterial effect throughout the entire wearing time (up to 7 days).

Patented silver complex with a broad antibacterial spectrum of activity:
Independent studies have demonstrated that Biatain Ag is effective against bacteria found in infected, non-healing wounds. Clinical trials have shown that infected wounds heal faster with Biatain Ag than with other wound dressings, including other antibacterial dressings.

Continuous antibacterial effect throughout the entire wearing period:
The sustained silver release profile provides a continuous antibacterial effect throughout the entire wearing period (up to 7 days).

Mode of action:
In the presence of wound exudate, silver is continuously released into the wound bed for up to 7 days.

Composition:
Biatain Ag non-adherent is a soft, flexible, absorbent polyurethane foam dressing with a patented silver complex that is homogeneously distributed throughout the foam dressing.

Use:
Biatain Ag non-adherent can be used for a wide range of exuding wounds with delayed healing due to bacteria or wounds at risk of infection, particularly leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, second-degree burns, split-thickness skin graft donor sites, postoperative wounds, and skin abrasions. Biatain Ag non-adherent can also be used under compression therapy.
