Who is the IPL epilator suitable for?

IPL hair removal is most effective for people with lighter skin and darker hair that contains dark pigment, making hair removal more effective. The lighter the hair and the darker the skin type, the less effective the IPL epilator is.

How to use an IPL epilator correctly

The skin to be epilated must be clean, dry and shaved before using the IPL epilator. Choose one of the five light intensity levels suitable for your skin type - the lighter your skin phototype, the higher the intensity level you should choose (recommended intensity levels for individual phototypes are described in more detail in the instructions - on page 17). Press the application surface of the epilator on the skin. Press the button and the device emits a light pulse. Do not give more than one impulse to the same part of the skin during a treatment. You may feel a slight heat or tingling sensation during epilation, but it should not be painful. If you feel pain, it is necessary to reduce the intensity of the radiation.

First results after 4 weeks of use

Hair removal results may vary from user to user depending on the part of the body treated, hair color and application method. You can see the first successes on the skin after 4 weeks of regular use. If you are just starting with epilation, we recommend that you do the first 4 treatments 2 weeks apart. Then repeat the epilation every 4 weeks until you get the desired result.

Eye protection sensor

The IPL epilator has a built-in safety sensor that prevents the pulse from being transmitted if you direct the epilator into an open space. Thanks to this sensor, the device will work correctly only when the application area is in full contact with the skin. Therefore, the use of the device is safe and there is no risk of damage to the eyes, so there is no need to use special protective glasses. For facial treatment, we recommend closing your eyes during the flash. In this way, you will prevent minor glare comparable to the power of a camera flash, which does not pose a health risk, but can be unpleasant.

Don't wait for summer

If you want to have beautifully smooth skin in the summer, start epilating well in advance. Your skin should not be exposed to sunlight for at least 4 weeks before and at least 2 weeks after using the IPL epilator. Protect your skin from the sun throughout the treatment. Sun exposure means sitting in direct sunlight without protection for about 15 minutes or sitting in indirect sunlight without protection for 1 hour. If you have applied self-tanning cream to your skin, wait until the tanning effect of the cream has completely disappeared. The IPL epilator can be used by men and women over the age of 18.

When not to use an IPL epilator

The IPL epilator should not be used on tattooed body parts, areas with permanent makeup, freckles, birthmarks and other dark spots. Cover these areas well before use. At the same time, the IPL epilator is not recommended for use by people with very sensitive skin, skin diseases, a high incidence of red veins, varicose veins or pregnant and breastfeeding women.
