Bio Cat Antiparasitic Collar is an external antiparasitic product used in cats, and is very effective in treating flea and tick infestations.

The collar provides protection against parasites for 4 months, after which it must be replaced. The collar is effective against fleas and ticks only if the animal wears it at all times. Fleas on the cat are killed within a few hours of attaching the collar, and ticks are killed within about a day of attaching the collar.

Dead ticks either fall off the cat's body or can be easily removed. The collar has a pleasant smell for humans, and does not bother the animals.

Composition: geraniol 13%, a powerful, water-resistant ingredient of plant origin, which has a repellent and biocidal action on all species of external parasites.

Method of use: Remove the collar from the protective package. Place the collar around the cat's neck. The collar becomes effective within 24 hours of placing it on the animal's neck.

Contraindications: do not smoke, drink or eat when attaching the collar. Keep the product out of reach of children.

Side effects: there is no possibility of overdose, due to the pharmaceutical form. If parts of the collar are accidentally swallowed, the animal may experience reactions such as excessive salivation, vomiting, pupil contractions, diarrhea. In these cases, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Recommendations for correct use: avoid direct contact with the skin. Wear gloves when attaching the collar. It is advisable to wash the animal before using the collar, if its fur is not clean. The collar is water resistant, but it is preferable to remove it before bathing or swimming and put it back on immediately after drying the hair. The loss of the antiparasitic effect of the collar can be checked by scratching it with a metal object. If the scratched area is white, the collar is still effective. Otherwise, a new collar should be used.
