- D-mannose is a sugar present on the surface of human cells; when ingested, it is not absorbed and quickly passes through the body to be eliminated in the urine.
- Propolis is a resinous and fragrant substance used by bees to protect their hives.
- Canneberge (Vaccinium macrocarpon) contain type A2 proanthocyanidins (PAC A), which distinguish them from all other plants of the cranberry family.
