Inspired by the vitality of urban men, perfumer Christine Nagel wanted to recreate the textures of soft materials such as cashmere, silk and velvet. The backbone of the composition is an aromatic, botanical and slightly woody note of sage. Narcissus absolute, a strong and solid note, is mixed with the essence of rosewood and the synthetic molecule of sclarene. This unusual note, which is rarely used in perfumes, came to Nagel after visiting the tailoring workshops of Hermès. Reminiscent of warm, metallic steam, it mimics applying wet rags to woolen suits before pressing them with a heavy metal iron.Features
