Contraindications:

• Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to acyclovir or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Do not use in herpes infections in the eyes or genital area

Use in children and adults:

• In order for the effect of the treatment to be as good as possible, it is important to start it as soon as the first symptoms appear, that is, a feeling of tension, burning or stinging in the places where the herpes will appear later.
• Even then, apply a small amount of Herpesin cream to the affected area and a half-centimeter area around healthy skin 5 times a day at intervals of about four hours, skipping the nighttime dose.
• The treatment should last 5 days. If there is no improvement, the treatment can be continued for another 5 days
• If symptoms persist even after 10 days of treatment, consult a doctor

Composition:

• The active ingredient is acyclovir 50 mg (5%) in 1 g of cream
• Other ingredients are carbomer 934, 5% sodium hydroxide solution, dimethicone, cetyl alcohol, sodium lauryl sulfate, and preservative water, which contains methylparaben, propylparaben, and purified water.
