Kaltostat is a calcium-sodium alginate dressing used as a primary dressing for moderately to heavily exuding chronic and acute wounds, as well as for wounds with minor bleeding. Upon contact with exudate, the dry fibers swell and absorb it. This product does not contain latex.
Composition:
Calcium sodium alginate from the brown algae Laminaria Hyperborea.
Indication:
Primary dressing and wound filler for slightly bleeding superficial and deep wounds.
