Eye drops

Description
Medical device.
Sterile aqueous hydrogel containing:
- polyvinyl alcohol, with lubricating, viscoelastic, mucoadhesive, protective action;
- dexpanthenol, which belongs to the B vitamin class, homologue of pantothenic acid, vitamin nutrient of tissues, protective epithelium;
- hexamidine disethionate, polyhexanide hydrochloride and disodium edetate and other excipients, for use on ocular tissues by instillation.
Due to the properties of its components, the device is effective as an adjuvant in the process of corneal re-epithelialization, following stress caused by contact lenses, air conditioning, solar radiation, artificial lamps or video terminals. Therefore, KERATOSEPT stabilizes the tear film and protects the ocular surface in all cases of tear dysfunction, even in patients prone to recurrent eye infections.
It is perfectly transparent and colorless.
It is miscible with tear fluid in all proportions.
It has pH, viscosity and osmolarity values ​​perfectly compatible with ocular tissues and tear fluid and therefore has a high degree of tolerability.

How to use
Instill 1-2 drops of solution into the lower conjunctival sac of the eye, applying light pressure on the body of the bottle. It is recommended to repeat this procedure 2-3 or more times a day, as needed.

Polyvinyl alcohol 1.25%, dexpanthenol 5%, hexamidine disethionate 0.50%, polyhexanide hydrochloride 0.0001%, methylsulfonylmethane, disodium edetate, disodium phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, purified water.

warnings
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Given the absence of quaternary ammonium salts, the device can also be used by wearers of soft and rigid contact lenses.
Do not touch your eye with the tip of the pipette.
Do not use if you have an active eye infection.
Do not use at the same time as other eye drops.
Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any of the components of the preparation.
Do not use the product after the expiration date stated on the packaging.

Conservation
Store below 25°C.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
Shelf life after opening: 30 days.
