Leukomed

High absorption capacity and exceptional skin compatibility are just two of the many properties that make Leukomed suitable for professional use. This sterile wound dressing provides reliable coverage for surgical wounds and accidental injuries of all kinds. Leukomed is made of transversely elastic, conformable polyester nonwoven fabric and therefore adapts very well to even highly contoured body parts. The extra-soft, absorbent wound pad made of viscose nonwoven fabric is coated with polypropylene. This prevents the pad from sticking to the wound and allows for virtually painless dressing changes without impairing wound healing. Leukomed is permeable to air and water vapor, which reduces the risk of skin maceration. The rounded corners prevent the dressing from rolling up and ensure secure fixation. Despite its excellent immediate and long-term adhesive strength, Leukomed can be removed without leaving any residue. Leukomed consists of a polyester nonwoven backing coated with polyacrylate adhesive, and the wound pad is made of viscose nonwoven fabric coated with polypropylene.
