How is natural syrup made from Madal Bal Neera trees?

Neera syrup is produced using only the purest sap from mature, healthy, and carefully selected trees growing in unpolluted natural environments . The entire harvesting and processing process is carried out with exceptional care, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and with respect for local communities.

• Grade C maple syrup is the darkest and richest in minerals, obtained from sugar maples of the "Bird's Eye" variety that are at least 40 years old. These trees produce sap for only a short period – 4 to 6 weeks, in March and April. During this time, despite difficult conditions such as snow, the sap is collected daily and transported to a facility where it is slowly heated to a syrupy consistency. To obtain 1 liter of the finished product, 40–50 liters of fresh sap are needed – exactly the same amount as one tree produces in an entire year.
• Palm syrups are made from several species of palm trees, including the coconut, the Arenga, and Kitul palms from tropical forests, the Nipah palm from wetlands, and the Palmyra palm from northern Sri Lanka. Syrup production involves daily pruning of the inflorescences before they develop into fruit, which allows for the purest juice. This juice is then gently heated to prevent fermentation and achieve the desired syrup consistency.
