Melolin
Low-adherent, absorbent compress
Melolin – the low-adherent wound dressing – is made of a highly absorbent cotton-polyester blend. The polyester coating on the wound side reduces the risk of the dressing sticking to the wound, thus ensuring a less painful dressing change. Its excellent exudate absorption allows for longer dressing change intervals, supporting cost-effective care. The reverse side of the dressing features a water-repellent coating that minimizes moisture penetration from the dressing to the outside.
Areas of application:
Melolin is suitable for the primary treatment of low to moderate exuding postoperative wounds, cuts and abrasions, as well as minor burns.
