DIRECTIONS FOR USE Prevention of pressure ulcers and ulcers of the lower limbs and treatment of stage I pressure ulcers: After carrying out the usual cleaning treatments, apply 2 or 3 times a day to the areas at risk or affected by the ulcer, spreading the product with your fingertips. Accompanying the use with postural changes and other general prevention and care practices, as well as following the recommended hygienic-postural measures, can prevent the formation of skin ulcers. Treatment of stage II pressure ulcers and ulcers of the lower limbs in the initial stages: After carrying out the usual cleaning treatments, apply directly to the ulcer, or to a sterile gauze, which is then applied to the ulcer. Cover the ulcer with an appropriate bandage. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times a day until completely healed. PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS In case of excessive skin redness, it is advisable to use Mepentol solution. Healthcare personnel or caregivers who apply MEPENTOL MILK must adopt the minimum standards and precautions of a healthcare facility (for example, the use of gloves).
