Do not use the instrument if it is damaged or if it is not functioning normally.

Make sure children do not use the tool without adult supervision. Some parts are small enough to be swallowed.

Conservation
Protect your instrument from water and moisture, extreme temperatures, knocks and drops, dirt and dust, sunlight, heat and cold.
If the instrument will not be used for long periods of time, remove the batteries.
