The preparation is a source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) in the form of bioesters. ALA is a primary, essential acid from the omega 3 group, which the body cannot produce on its own. ALA acid helps to maintain the proper level of cholesterol in the blood. The beneficial effect occurs when 2 g of ALA is consumed per day. Moreover, it allows the body to produce secondary acids: EPA and DHA according to its needs. Omegamedica Cardio also contains coenzyme Q10 - an organic chemical compound from the quinone group, which is also one of the important components of the respiratory chain found in the cells of the human body.
