Coenzyme Q10 is a molecule found in all cell membranes of the body.
Coenzyme Q10 occurs naturally in two main forms in the body: ubiquinone, ubiquinol.

To ensure quality, PiLeJe has chosen a Coenzyme Q10 obtained through a fermentation process of Kaneka UbiquinolTM yeast.

Three different methods are used to produce CoQ10:

> yeast fermentation,
> Bacterial fermentation,
> Chemical synthesis.

The yeast fermentation process results in a configuration of CoQ10, meaning it is identical to the natural CoQ10 found in meat, fish and other products.
