Set the flow indicator according to your doctor's instructions.
Move the control point to the bottom of the measurement scale.
Hold the spirometer gently, without touching the scale.
Take a deep breath.
Hold your breath, place the mouthpiece in your mouth, bite it lightly and close your lips tightly around it.
Blow as hard and fast as you can.
Read the value, write it down and repeat the measurement 3 times.
Important: Do not block the mouthpiece with your tongue or teeth. The presence of saliva may lead to falsely high results.
