Dandelion is a plant that grows to a height of up to 40 cm. This is a prehistorically old and very well-known plant, which is widely distributed on the territory of the Slovak Republic, therefore it is often also considered a weed.

However, in traditional medicine, dandelion root is highly valued and is particularly suitable for maintaining normal digestive functions - it acts as a prebiotic . Dandelion is also used as an effective antioxidant , it supports the functions of the liver and stomach and is suitable for maintaining the normal state of the urinary system . The use of dandelion root is recommended to support the digestive tract. The root is often included in herbal mixtures. Dandelion has an anti-inflammatory effect and affects carbohydrate metabolism.

Traditional use

Mix a teaspoon of powder in water and drink. We use it twice a day.

TIP for preparation

We just add 2 times more water than powder to the powder glass and mix it into a paste, which we dilute with liquid - with this procedure, lumps do not form in the drink.
