Action

The Suprasorb F medical device provides transparent protection. The flexible polyurethane film is air-permeable and, through gas and heat exchange, creates a moist wound environment that promotes healing. Suprasorb F is fluid-tight and protects the wound or puncture site from colonization by externally entering bacteria.

The transparent structure of the dressing facilitates inspection of the wound and the injection site. Suprasorb F is a flexible and stretchable dressing, very easy to use. Suprasorb F is wipeable, even with disinfectants containing alcohol, iodine, or octenidine. The dressing provides good protection against external factors and does not interfere with bathing or showering. Suprasorb F is available as a sterile film wound dressing or as a non-sterile film dressing on a roll.

Indications

Suprasorb F can be used as a secondary dressing for wounds at risk of infection as part of regular antibacterial therapy.

How to use a medical device

• The treating physician should change the dressing depending on the condition of the wound, the degree of exudate and the presence of a secondary dressing, no later than after 5-7 days.

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a dry place.
• Store at room temperature.
• Protect from solar radiation.
