What properties does tryptophan have?
L-tryptophan is an organic chemical compound from the group of protein amino acids. The source of tryptophan in a properly balanced diet can be primarily protein-rich products such as fish (especially tuna and cod), cheese, milk, lean meat and soy products. The richest source of this important amino acid is pumpkin seeds.
L-tryptophan can also be provided to the body as part of supplementation using Swanson® capsules. The package contains 60 pieces, which allows 2 months of supplementation daily, in the evening.
