4LAX is a single-use medical suppository or rectal solution for micro-enemas, based on glycerine, which helps to facilitate evacuation in cases of constipation and is also recommended for children. Glycerol has a mechanical laxative effect by drawing water into the stool, softening it and stimulating peristalsis and bowel movements. 4LAX is indicated for the treatment of occasional short-term constipation. It is also used in preparation for rectoscopic investigations and after surgery.
