Aloe Vera Gel

It is a general tonic, recommended for depression, mental and physical asthenia, normalising metabolism, detoxifying the body, and stimulating cell regeneration. It has antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal effects and lowers blood cholesterol levels.

It is administered prophylactically 2-3 times a year, with each treatment lasting 1 month.

For curative purposes, it is administered for a maximum of 3 months.

Start gradually with 1 tablespoon in the morning and evening, 30 minutes before meals.

You can take 100 ml in 2-3 doses.

Aloe Ferox

It is used in the form of crystallised juice powder. It is a very good detoxifier, used both in degenerative diseases and in weight loss treatments. Take 1 capsule 3 times a day.

Aloe First

Contains aloe gel, allantoin, propolis and a complex of extracts from 11 plants. It comes in spray form for irritations and minor skin lesions and protects the hair from the harmful effects of environmental factors. It has a soothing effect on the skin after waxing.

Aloe is totally contraindicated for people with intestinal obstruction, symptoms associated with acute abdomen, Crohn's disease, abdominal pain of various causes, appendicitis, ulcerative colitis, and allergy to aloe.

For adults and young people over 15 years of age, it is recommended to take 1 tablet per day, 30 minutes before a meal. In some situations, such as during stressful periods, adults may take 1 tablet twice a day, but for no longer than 2-3 weeks.

Children under 14 years of age should only be treated with aloe vera on the advice of a doctor.

The tablets should be swallowed with water, crushed in the mouth or broken in half for people who have difficulty swallowing.

It is also available in concentrated juice form, 20 ml of which should be consumed daily before breakfast.

There is also a version of aloe vera juice with turmeric, known for both beauty treatments and maintaining the body's health. Fresh aloe leaves are cut and bottled a few hours after harvesting. This preserves the beneficial properties of the plant. Up to 30 ml of juice (2 tablespoons twice a day) can be consumed.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, aloe tablets should be taken with caution and only on the advice of a doctor. Studies have shown a risk of miscarriage in pregnant women or the development of congenital disorders in the foetus.

A doctor's recommendation and caution are required when administering aloe preparations to people who are being treated with the following medications: antiarrhythmics, diuretics, antidiabetics, digitalis (cardiac glycosides), warfarin, laxatives, sevoflurane.

Aloe is a homeopathic product that helps relieve symptoms of constipation, but excessive consumption can have serious effects on the kidneys and may even cause cancer.

According to experts, the administration of laxatives containing aloe latex causes resistance to the active substances that have a beneficial effect. This leads to an increase in dosage and, consequently, to health risks. For this reason, in 2002, the FDA banned the use of aloe latex in laxatives.

Studies have concluded that long-term use of aloe in people with hypoglycaemia is a real health risk because aloe lowers blood glucose levels.

People who are undergoing medical treatment for various heart conditions or digestive disorders should avoid treatment with aloe vera because it can alter the action of these medications or negate their therapeutic effect.
