Arterin is a dietary supplement that helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. Arterin Cholesterol is a new formula that, in addition to reducing cholesterol, also has a protective effect on blood vessels thanks to its antioxidant properties.
Forms of release
Arterin is available in the following variants:
- Arterin, Omega Pharma, 60 tablets or 120 tablets
- Arterin normal heart function, 90 tablets, Omega Pharma
- Arterin Cholesterol, 30 tablets, Perrigo
Arterin contains monacolin K from red yeast rice, which helps normalise cholesterol. Arterin Cholesterol contains bergamot extract, phytosterols, artichoke extract and vitamin C. Arterin for normal heart function contains monacolin K and vitamin B1.
Indications for use
Arterin with red yeast rice is recommended for balancing blood cholesterol levels and protecting blood vessels. Arterin Cholesterol also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and hepatoprotective properties. It is recommended as a primary preventive measure for mild hypercholesterolemia. It is sometimes recommended for patients with statin intolerance.
Dosage and administration
Arterin is administered as 1 tablet per day, during meals, preferably in the evening. Arterin Cholesterol is administered as 1-2 tablets per day, preferably during meals. Do not exceed the recommended dose of 3 mg or more of monacolin.
How long should I take Arterin: There is no maximum period for taking Arterin. However, Arterin should only be taken on the advice of your doctor. If your cholesterol levels do not return to normal, your doctor may recommend another medicine.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the product. This product is a dietary supplement and is not intended to replace a balanced diet or healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed 3 g per day of plant sterols (1 tablet contains 120 mg of plant sterols, 2 tablets contain 240 mg) and do not supplement with additional plant sterols. Do not take during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
It is only suitable for adults. Do not take with grapefruit juice. Do not take with other cholesterol-lowering medicines (such as statins) as the mechanism of action is similar and there is a risk of overdose.

Side effects
According to the Arterin package leaflet, there are no known side effects for this product. Studies show that Arterin is well tolerated by most patients and has a safe profile. Please report any changes to your doctor during treatment with Arterin.
Overdose
Do not take more than the recommended dose to avoid the risk of overdose.
Storage
Store Arterin at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep out of the reach of children.
