Esentin E is intended to maintain normal liver function.
What does Esentin E contain?
- lecithin (equivalent to 400 mg of essential phospholipids)
- silymarin - 100 mg

How does Esentin E work?
Esentin E is based on a beneficial combination of essential phospholipids and silymarin in the same capsule. This increases the absorption and bioavailability of silymarin in the body. Silymarin maintains liver health.
Vitamin E helps protect liver cells against oxidative stress.
What are the indications for Esentin E?
- For people with impaired liver function
- For people who have undergone hepatobiliary surgery
- for better concentration and higher memory levels – administered to adults, pupils and students during periods that require extra attention and memory (exams, intense intellectual activity)
- as an adjunct to treatment for improving mental function
How is Esentin E administered?
One tablet twice a day, after meals. The capsules should be swallowed with an adequate amount of water.
What side effects can Esentin E have?
The colourings Sunset Yellow and Allura Red may have adverse effects on children's activity, affecting their attention.
Are there any contraindications for taking Esentin E?
The package leaflet for this product states that Esentin E contains soy derivatives, so it is contraindicated for people who are allergic to soy. It is also contraindicated for people who are allergic to any of the excipients. It is NOT recommended for children under 12 years of age. It is contraindicated for pregnant women, in the presence of an ovarian cyst, endometriosis and/or decompensated cirrhosis. It should be administered with caution to hypoglycaemic/diabetic individuals. It may cause drug interactions and increased caution is required when administered concomitantly with: anti-infective drugs (Metronidazole) and oral contraceptives.

Are there any contraindications for taking Esentin Forte?
