Sun D3 is recommended for vitamin D deficiency. This vitamin helps maintain normal blood calcium levels, maintain healthy bones and teeth, combat rickets and its consequences, and ensure normal immune system function.
Forms of release

Indications for use
Sun D3 is recommended in cases of vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin derived from animal and plant precursors and is involved in calcium and phosphorus metabolism. It promotes the absorption of calcium in the intestine and, indirectly, phosphorus.
Dosage and administration
SunD3 capsules contain 2000 IU of vitamin D and are taken orally, 1 capsule per day, or as recommended by a specialist doctor. Sun D3 is available for children in the form of drops, an oily solution - 4 drops (800 IU) are administered.
How long should Sun D3 be taken: Take as recommended by your doctor. The duration of treatment depends on the level of vitamin D in the body and your general state of health.
Contraindications
There are also some contraindications for Sun D3. Sun D3 should not be administered to people with hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria, kidney stones, sarcoidosis or hypersensitivity to vitamin D. It should be administered with caution in patients with renal impairment. High doses should not be administered to immobile patients, the elderly, or patients with hypothyroidism or hypercholesterolemia. If repeated high doses are administered, blood and urine calcium levels should be monitored.
Interactions with other medicines and foods
The effectiveness of vitamin D decreases during prolonged treatment with barbiturates and phenytoin.
Side effects
This supplement is generally safe as long as the recommended doses are followed.
Overdose
Take only as recommended by your doctor and avoid excessive doses. High doses of vitamin D can cause anorexia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, flatulence, drowsiness, headache, asthenia, hyposalivation, abdominal pain, weakness, polyuria, thirst, cardiac arrhythmias, weight loss, hypercalciuria, hypercalcaemia, formation of kidney stones, etc.
Storage conditions
Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat.
