Utipro plus

Utipro Plus from Montavit is recommended for urinary tract infections – acute and recurrent infections. It thus helps to control and prevent urinary infections that can be caused by pathogens such as E. coli. It can be taken alone or in combination with antibiotics. Please note that a urinary infection must be diagnosed by a doctor. In case of acute infection, antibiotic treatment may be necessary. Utipro Plus does not replace antibiotics when they are needed. It is important to seek medical advice if you experience signs and symptoms of a urinary tract infection, such as pain or discomfort when urinating, unpleasant-smelling urine, cloudy urine, blood in the urine, a burning sensation in the urinary tract, pain in the pelvic area, etc.

Utipro Plus contains propolis, hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa) and biolm – xyloglucan (hemicellulose) and gelatin (of plant origin).

Utipro Plus AF has a dual action. It acts both in the intestine, to prevent the proliferation of bacteria and their penetration into the urinary tract, and on the bladder, leading to acidification of the urine. Xyloglucan is a polysaccharide that can form a protective barrier in the bladder. Gelose is a gelatinous substance with emollient properties that moisturises the urinary tract. Hibiscus extract has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and propolis has a natural antimicrobial effect, helping to inhibit the bacteria responsible for urinary infections.

No. Utipro Plus can be taken at the same time as antibiotics, but it does not replace antibiotic treatment when this is necessary. If you have symptoms of a urinary tract infection, the first step is to see your doctor for a proper diagnosis. Your doctor will determine the treatment plan based on the severity of your symptoms and the causes.

A urinary tract infection that is not treated in time or not treated correctly can worsen and spread to other areas of the urinary tract or even to other areas of the body. Supportive treatment, such as Utipro Plus, based on hibiscus, propolis or xyloglucan, has a complementary role in the management of urinary tract infections and promotes recovery.

This supplement is generally safe. The main contraindications for Utipro Plus are allergy or hypersensitivity to the ingredients in the product.

The recommended dose is 2 capsules per day for 5 days – 1 capsule every 12 hours. It is recommended to start treatment at the first signs of infection or urinary problems. In case of recurrence, to prevent new episodes, 1 capsule per day for 15 days in a row per month is recommended. The capsules should be swallowed whole with water.

Treatment with Utipro Plus is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless recommended by your doctor.
