ASEPTOMAN GEL – virucidal hand disinfectant gel for professional needs

ASEPTOMAN GEL is a virucidal, alcohol-based hand sanitizer gel for application to the skin, developed for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. Its convenient gel form allows for easy application and ensures reliable skin coverage. The gel is bactericidal, tuberculocidal, yeasticidal, and virucidal, making it suitable for situations with high hygiene requirements. ASEPTOMAN GEL is fragrance-free and free of cumulative long-lasting active ingredients that can accumulate on the skin and cause irritation. Moisturizing ingredients and humectants help prevent skin dryness and promote skin compatibility. The product is phenol-free, contains no quaternary ammonium compounds, and is compatible with all hand washes.

Application and exposure times

ASEPTOMAN GEL is a ready-to-use gel for rubbing into dry hands. For effective disinfection, hands must be kept moist with the undiluted product throughout the entire application time; reapply in portions as needed. A contact time of 30 seconds is recommended for hygienic hand disinfection. For surgical hand disinfection, the contact time is 1.5 minutes. A contact time of 1 minute is recommended for virus inactivation. ASEPTOMAN GEL is tested according to EN 1500 (hygienic hand disinfection) and EN 12791 (surgical hand disinfection) and also demonstrates efficacy against, among others, noroviruses, adenoviruses, and polioviruses according to EN 14476 and prEN 17430, respectively.

Important safety instructions

ASEPTOMAN GEL is intended for professional use only. The liquid and vapor are highly flammable: Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. No smoking and always keep the container tightly closed. This product causes serious eye irritation; in case of contact with eyes, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention. ASEPTOMAN GEL is harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects and should therefore be disposed of properly. Take the contents/container to an approved waste disposal facility or municipal collection point. Store the product protected from UV radiation and always keep out of the reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Use biocidal products with care and always read the label and product information before use.
