Description
A non-sterile class III medical device, specially formulated to prevent acne complications and recurrences on acne-prone skin caused by external factors. Its formula contains polyvinyl alcohol and fomblin (perfluoropolyether), which form an invisible, non-occlusive film that isolates and protects the skin from external factors that can aggravate acne. The additional exfoliating action of benzoyl peroxide promotes the mechanical removal of dead cells and combats bacterial growth, maintaining the total microbial count. BENZONIC also contains soothing and moisturizing active ingredients such as niacinamide, which improves the skin's lipid barrier by stimulating the production of ceramides and fatty acids, thus alleviating the symptoms of epidermal hyperactivity. It promotes skin hydration by slowing down transepidermal water loss, thus indirectly contributing to reducing the potential appearance of localized redness.

How to use
Use the product exactly as directed by your doctor. It is recommended, always as directed by your doctor, to apply the product, preferably in the evening, evenly to the surfaces to be treated, after thoroughly cleaning the affected areas. The airless bottle is equipped with a dispenser that releases 0.25 ml of product with each press of the button, allowing you to precisely adjust the amount needed for each treatment.

The cream should not be applied to the eyes. In case of contact with eyes or mucous membranes, rinse with plenty of water. Apply the product with clean, dry hands.
Apply to intact skin. Avoid concomitant use with other preparations containing substances with a mechanical peeling effect, such as polyvinyl alcohol and Fomblin (perfluoropolyether) present in the device. Keep out of reach of children. For external topical use only. As studies have not been conducted during pregnancy, use during this period is not recommended. Consult a doctor in case of prolonged use or in the presence of a known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product. The expiry date refers to the intact and properly stored product. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and UV lamps. Benzoyl peroxide may discolour fabrics, hair and fur.
BENZONIC should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components.
Topical use of the product, especially if prolonged, may cause symptoms of sensitization or intolerance (such as burning or irritation); in this case, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted.

Conservation
Keep away from direct heat sources.
