It is an excellent aid in the fight against acne, skin irritations and inflammations. However, it should never be applied directly to the skin. Bergamot oil needs to be diluted or combined with other care products. It is often added to perfumes and cleansers, creams and conditioners for women and men. It is also worth adding that bergamot oil works perfectly as an air freshener, oral hygiene agent and room disinfectant.
It was primarily valued for its mood-enhancing properties. Bergamot oil alleviates symptoms of fatigue, excessive sleepiness and even depression. Eliminates anxiety, reduces nervous tension and improves mood.
Bergamot oil goes perfectly with almond, coconut, jojoba or sunflower oil, as well as with lavender, arnica or comfrey oil. It is always worth doing an allergy test before use.
How to use:
Aromatherapy: 3-6 drops per 1 liter of water should be placed in an air humidifier or atomizer. 2-4 drops per 100 ml of water for fireplace or scented lamps.
Bath: 4-6 drops of bergamot oil in a bath with warm water.
Skin care: apply 5 drops of bergamot oil with a glass of carrier oil to the affected part of the skin. Mix 2-3 drops of bergamot oil with a tablespoon of coconut oil and rub on your teeth and gums to maintain optimal oral health.
