EAR DROPS

Description
Ear drops whose action is based on the osmotic properties of glycerol.
The main component is glycerol.
The glycerol used in ear drops has two main characteristics: its oily consistency allows it to adhere delicately to the skin at the site of application and is responsible for its protective properties, and its hygroscopicity, when administered locally, allows the removal of water retained in the tissues (osmotic effect), reducing swelling and therefore relieving pain.
The glycerol contained in the medical device softens the cerumen, facilitates its expulsion and, due to its ability to absorb water, eliminates excess fluid (osmotic effect) from the tissues of the ear canal, favoring the elimination of discomfort that occurs in inflammatory conditions, such as pain and swelling of the ear.
Glycerol has a causative effect. Lidocaine is an adjuvant used as a local anesthetic, which enhances the action of glycerol and also relieves ear pain.
Cerumina Dol is useful in the following cases: inflammatory conditions characterized by swelling, pain and itching of the external auditory canal; painful conditions caused by regular exposure to water and moisture, such as swimming; painful conditions caused by prolonged use of headphones or cerumen blocking the external auditory canal; painful conditions caused by frequent use of detergents that destroy the natural membrane that protects the external auditory canal, such as shampoos, soaps and gels.

How to use
Wash your hands and unscrew the bottle cap.
Tilt your head or lie on your side so that the treated ear is facing up.
Gently pull the earlobe (the bottom of the ear canal) away from the neck.
Turn the bottle upside down, without the cap, and press on both sides, releasing 2 drops of product into the ear.
Keep your head tilted for a few minutes so the drops can flow into your ear canal.
Remove excess liquid with a clean napkin.
After application, it is recommended to close the external auditory canal with a cleansing pad.
Put the lid back on.
Adults and children over 12 years: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day. If you do not notice any improvement after 3 days or if symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
Children over 6 months: 2 drops in each ear up to three times a day.

For external use only.
Avoid contact with mucous membranes of the eyes, mouth, throat and nose.
Indicated for temporary relief of earaches, do not use for more than 3 days or continuously.
Use only under the supervision of an adult or a doctor.
If after 3 days you do not notice any improvement or feel worse, consult your pediatrician.
If used in children, it is necessary to protect the ear with cotton wool.
It cannot be used in children under 6 months.
For external use only.
The course of treatment must be monitored by a doctor.

Conservation
Store in a dry place, away from direct heat sources, at room temperature.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 36 months.
