Cutimed Sorbion Carbon+ is a superabsorbent wound dressing for the management of moderately to excessively exuding wounds, especially those accompanied by unpleasant wound odor due to poor wound healing conditions. Thanks to its innovative combination of activated charcoal and naturally occurring minerals, Cutimed Sorbion Carbon+ is particularly well-suited for wound dressings requiring effective, long-lasting odor control. At the same time, Cutimed Sorbion Carbon+ offers all the proven benefits of the Cutimed Sorbion Sachet product line and is characterized by effective exudate management.

Cutimed Sorbion Carbon+ consists of a super-absorbent core, a wound contact layer made of hypoallergenic polypropylene, and a breathable, waterproof polyurethane backing. Odor control is based on the dual action of activated carbon and naturally occurring zeolites.

Application:

• Moderately to excessively exuding wounds
• Chronic wounds, such as pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers
• Weeping laparotomy wounds
• Skin fistulas
• Ulcerating carcinomas
• Postoperative wound dehiscence and similar wounds with exudation

Dressing change:
Depending on the patient and the wound situation, at the latest after 7 days on the wound.
