One tablet contains: Active substances: pyrantel pamoate 230 mg, praziquantel 20 mg. Excipients: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone, magnesium stearate, colloidal silicon dioxide, coating (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide).

Product purpose

The product is intended to combat mixed parasitic invasions in cats, caused by roundworms (roundworms: Toxocara cati, hookworms: Ancylostoma tubaeforme) and flatworms (tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis, Echinococcus multilocularis).

Product characteristics

Drontal tablets contain two active ingredients: pyrantel pamoate and praziquantel. Pyrantel pamoate effectively combats roundworms, while praziquantel is effective against all stages of tapeworms found in cats' digestive tracts. The product is an ellipsoidal, coated tablet, ranging in color from white to light yellow, with a score line for precise dosing. Effective treatment is achieved after a single administration. Routine deworming of your cat is recommended every three months to ensure continued protection against parasites.

Product use

Administer orally, at a dose of 1 tablet per 4 kg of body weight.

• 2 kg body weight: ½ tablet

• 4 kg body weight: 1 tablet

• 6 kg body weight: 1 ½ tablets

The tablet can be administered directly into the cat's mouth or hidden in a piece of meat, sausage, or other treat. It can also be crushed and mixed with food. This product can be used regardless of diet.

Notes and precautions

Do not use on kittens under three weeks of age. Do not use on female cats in the first two trimesters of pregnancy. The product can be used during lactation. For hygiene reasons, wash your hands after administering the tablet. Fleas are intermediate hosts for tapeworms, so to avoid re-infestation, flea control in the environment should be carried out simultaneously. To reduce the risk of reinfestation, all animals living together should be treated at the same time.
