The MaiMed® 8 cm x 4 m fixation bandage features woven edges and offers approximately 130% stretchability, corresponding to a stretched length of about 4 meters. These non-sterile fixation bandages are both width-stable and breathable, and are made of a latex-free material that conforms smoothly to the skin without constricting.
Application and properties
These fixation bandages are ideal for use on conical body parts and around joints. They are particularly useful for securing wound dressings and are suitable for all types of fixation bandages. The bandage can be used under moderate tension and is sterilizable at 121°C or via EO.
