Indications for performing the test:

• Sudden development of a throat infection
• Intense sore throat, fever above 38°C
• Symptoms of scarlet fever (rash, difficulty swallowing)
• Enlarged lymph nodes, white coating on the tonsils
• Symptoms of infection in children (change in behavior, crying, moderate fever)
