Bone tissue is a dynamic structure that constantly undergoes remodeling processes. Some bone cells (osteoclasts) break down bone tissue, releasing calcium, and others (osteoblasts) create new bone tissue by incorporating calcium for cats, among other things. It is important to maintain a balance between these two processes, but with age, the process of breaking down bone tissue intensifies. Ensuring the balance of the cat's metabolism is possible by supplementing the diet with appropriate ingredients.

Vitamin K helps maintain healthy bones because it participates in the process of incorporating calcium into bone tissue. The preparation K2-Vitum forte 75 g contains vitamin K menaquinone-7 (MK-7). This is important because this chemical form of vitamin K is involved in bone metabolism. The human body cannot synthesize vitamin K on its own, so the demand for this vitamin is met mainly from diets and, to a lesser extent, due to synthesis by intestinal bacteria.

The product contains linseed oil with a high content of omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). Alpha-linolenic acid helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs when 2 g of ALA is consumed per day.

Ingredients: cold rolled linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum), gelatin (shell component), menaquinone (vitamin K2), humectant: glycerol.

The daily dose (1 capsule) contains:

75 g of vitamin K2 MK-7 (100% of the reference intake value) and 193 mg of linseed oil, including 97 mg of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3).

Recommended dose:

Take 1 capsule a day with a meal.
