Pädia's 6% saline inhalation solution is a 6% hypertonic saline solution for inhalation, available in individual 4.0 ml ampoules. Thanks to the sterile packaging of these individual ampoules, the 6% saline inhalation solution is completely preservative-free. Due to its osmotic action, the 6% saline inhalation solution is used to increase secretion mobilization in the lower respiratory tract in diseases associated with mucus thickening, such as cystic fibrosis. This 6% hypertonic solution is suitable for inhalation from infancy onwards.
