This powerful active ingredient acts on three levels: it inhibits the expression of ET-1 , thus modulating the hyperactivity of melanocytes ; it acts on the angiogenesis process by blocking vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF) ; and, finally, it has a moisturizing effect that strengthens the skin's barrier function, reducing melanin formation/pigmentation.
