It can be used in the treatment of dry to highly exuding wounds when it is necessary to prevent adhesions between the wound and the dressing, such as in the case of burns, radiation damage, dermatological transplants, abrasions, etc.
Characteristics:
non-adherent dressing without active ingredients that allows for atraumatic change.
It is composed of a fabric of rayon-viscose filaments impregnated with petrolatum. The filaments are soaked before weaving to leave the dressing's pores open, allowing exudates to drain and the wound to breathe.
