Suprasorb F Protect
Foil wound dressing

Suprasorb F Protect film dressing is a self-adhesive, transparent wound dressing that allows the skin to breathe and reduces the risk of skin maceration. The dressing conforms to the contours of the body, stretches with the skin, and thus offers greater patient comfort. The film dressing reduces friction-related skin damage and can also be used as pressure ulcer prophylaxis for sensitive skin.

Areas of application:
For the treatment of acute and chronic wounds that are low-exuding and superficial.

Indications:

Arterial and venous ulcers
Diabetic ulcers
Pressure ulcers (also suitable for prophylaxis)
Split-thickness skin graft donor sites
Postoperative wounds
abrasions
Lacerations and cuts
Minor burns/scalds (Grade 1/2a)

Can be used as a secondary dressing for wounds at risk of infection.

Wound healing phases:
Epithelialization phase.

Characteristics:

Easy application even with gloves
Transparency enables wound control
clings to the contours of the body.
Stretches with the skin for greater patient comfort
A secure hold ensures high wearing comfort.
Reduction of friction-related skin damage
waterproof and bacteria-proof
Water vapor permeability maintains a moist wound environment.

Notes:

Can be used as a secondary dressing for fixation.
The product is suitable for showering.
Resistant to common disinfectants.
Free from rosin, rosin derivatives and DMF.
Can remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
Not suitable for use in negative pressure therapy.
