VSL#3 ^® is a dietary supplement in powder form for oral suspension. Each sachet contains 8 strains of live, freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria :

• Streptococcus thermophilus BT01,
• Bifidobacterium breve BB02,
• Bifidobacterium longum* BL03,
• Bifidobacterium infantis* BI04,
• Lactobacillus acidophilus BA05,
• Lactobacillus plantarum BP06,
• Lactobacillus paracasei BP07,
• Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus** BD08.

Each sachet of VSL# ^3® formula contains 450 billion (450 x ¹⁰⁹ ) colony-forming units (CFU). To prepare a solution, simply dissolve the contents of the sachet in lukewarm liquid such as water, milk, juice, or yogurt and stir thoroughly until the powder is completely dissolved.

VSL#3 ^® 450 sachets can be used as a dietary supplement for adults and children over 3 years of age. The product is gluten-free and does not contain lactose or soy.

• A thermolabile product is temperature-sensitive and requires special storage conditions. Store it according to the manufacturer's instructions in the leaflet or on the product packaging.
• VSL#3 ^® should be stored refrigerated at 2-8°C, in its original packaging to protect from light and moisture. If necessary, the product can be stored at room temperature (approximately 25°C) for up to 7 days without adversely affecting the contents.
