Description Ascolip
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Ascolip is an innovative dietary supplement based on liposomal vitamin C, developed by Liposhell, which offers superior bioavailability thanks to advanced liposome encapsulation technology. With a modern orange-flavoured formula, Ascolip stands out for its ability to support multiple essential physiological functions, including normal collagen formation, maintaining vascular and immune integrity, supporting energy metabolism and combating oxidative stress.
Forms of release
Ascolip Vitamin C comes in single-dose sachets, each containing 1000 mg of sodium ascorbate in a stabilised liposomal suspension.
The liposomal vehicle consists of soy lecithin and rapeseed lecithin, ingredients recognised for their ability to form phospholipid vesicles that protect vitamin C from premature degradation in the digestive environment.
Indications for use
Ascolip Liposomal Vitamin C is recommended as an adjunct in the prevention and management of nutritional deficiencies or conditions associated with increased vitamin C requirements. Its use may be justified in the following contexts:
- Supporting immune function, especially during the cold season or periods of convalescence;
- Reducing fatigue and exhaustion in states of physical or mental overexertion;
- Protecting cells against oxidative stress, thanks to the antioxidant properties of vitamin C;
- Normal collagen formation, with a positive impact on blood vessels, skin, gums, teeth, bones and cartilage.
Dosage
The recommended dose is 1 sachet per day, dissolved in a small amount of cold water. It is recommended to consume immediately after preparation to preserve the structural integrity of the liposomes.
It can be taken at any time of day, but for optimal absorption, it is recommended to take it at least 30 minutes before or after meals.
Contraindications
The product is contraindicated in people with allergies to soy and any of the ingredients or excipients.
People with a predisposition to kidney stones or those with iron metabolism disorders, such as haemochromatosis, should take Ascolip vitamin C with caution, preferably on the advice of a doctor.
People with severe kidney disease should seek medical advice before taking Ascolip.
Special instructions for use
In children, the use of the product should be individualised according to age and body weight, under the supervision of a specialist.
The product is not intended for long-term use without medical supervision. Regular assessment of kidney function and biochemical parameters is recommended, especially in case of chronic use.
Side effects
Vitamin C Ascolip has a favourable safety profile, but in some cases adverse effects may occur, especially in the context of excessive consumption. The most commonly reported reactions include:
- Gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea
- Hypersensitivity reactions, manifested by skin rash, itching, or oedema;
- Headaches
Interactions with other medicines and foods
Vitamin C may interact with certain active substances or foods:
- It increases iron absorption, which may promote iron overload in patients with haematological disorders;
- It reduces the effect of warfarin and may influence coagulation parameters in patients on anticoagulants;
- Concomitant use with alcohol, caffeine or acidic foods may affect the stability of liposomes and, consequently, the absorption of the active substance.
It is recommended to consult your doctor or pharmacist before combining Ascolip with other supplements or medications.
Overdose
Although vitamin C is water-soluble and has a low risk of toxicity, accidental overdose can lead to symptoms such as abdominal cramps, bloating and nausea. In extreme cases, overdose may lead to the formation of oxalic kidney stones or exacerbation of pre-existing nephropathy.
Treatment consists of discontinuing administration and symptomatic measures. Chronic overdose may require medical monitoring and specific interventions.
Storage conditions
Ascolip liposomal vitamin C should be stored at room temperature in a dry place away from direct light and heat sources. Refrigeration is not recommended as low temperatures may destabilise the liposome structure. Keep out of the reach of children. The expiry date is specified on the packaging, and the product should not be used after the expiry date.

Liposomal Vitamin C with Orange Flavor Ascolip, 1000 mg, 30 sachets, Liposhell
Liposomal vitamin C recommended on a Facebook group. I am pleased with the quality, it is effective in colds especially. I take it for prevention and treatment in colds/ colds. At the first symptoms I take 1-2 sachets a day and have had no problems in the cold season. But I also take Quinton hypertonic plasma 1-3 vials a day. I also give it to my 4 year old child except that the taste is a bit unpleasant and it has to be mixed in a sweet soda to be accepted.
