You can buy both individual 500 ml containers and packs of 4 x 200 ml bottles. The product comes in several flavours.

Fresubin Protein contains vitamins and minerals: vitamin A, vitamin D3, β-carotene, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin E, biotin, pantothenic acid, folic acid, niacin, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, selenium, etc.

Fresubin products are indicated for nutritional supplementation for various medical purposes. They are especially recommended for people suffering from or at risk of malnutrition, such as Fresubin in cancer, but also for those with specific nutritional needs, increased protein requirements or other problems. There are several specific formulations with different indications and compositions for specific needs or problems. Fresubin Energy is indicated in cases of risk of malnutrition and high energy or protein requirements.

This product is used as a dietary supplement in doses of 2-3 bottles per day, and for complete enteral nutrition, 4-5 bottles per day are administered. It is best consumed cold and in small sips. It is a high-calorie and high-protein solution. It is necessary to monitor fluid intake and drink slowly.

There are also some contraindications for Fresubin. Do not administer this medicine unless under medical supervision. Do not administer Fresubin Protein Energy to children under 1 year of age. It is recommended to monitor fluid balance during treatment with Fresubin. This product can only be stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours after opening. Do not administer Fresubin Renal if you are on dialysis. These products are not intended as a medical supplement, especially outside of a medical condition or specific nutritional requirement. Do not take without your doctor's recommendation.

No interactions with other medicines or food are usually known. However, inform your doctor about any treatments you are taking to avoid any possible interactions.

This product is generally safe and does not cause serious side effects. Inform your doctor about any side effects that occur.

Store at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Store in the refrigerator after opening and use within 24 hours.
