Revisan

Revisan treatment is recommended for people with brittle, dull, lacklustre hair and exfoliated nails that tend to break easily, as it helps nourish and protect hair and nails from within thanks to the natural antioxidants in its composition.

Revisan is taken orally, 1 tablet per day, or as recommended by a specialist consultant. It is contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.

Revisan contains a number of substances that are essential for maintaining the health of the human body: green tea extract (90% polyphenols), grape seed extract, collagen peptides, folic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin C, calcium, nicotinamide, biotin, L-methionine, L-lysine, iron, L-cysteine, inositol, silicon, selenium, copper, choline.

Collagen peptides result from the hydrolysis of collagen, which contributes to the normal functioning of blood vessels, the skeletal system, ligaments, gums, skin and teeth. Collagen peptides contain all amino acids except tryptophan.

Camellia sinensis and grape seed extracts contain substances with antioxidant properties that protect cells from the negative effects of free radicals.

Methionine is an essential amino acid (it cannot be synthesised in the body and the only source is external intake) that prevents hair loss and promotes lipid metabolism, especially those containing phosphorus (phospholipids).

Lysine is an essential amino acid that plays a vital role in protein synthesis, calcium absorption, the production of antibodies that ensure the normal functioning of the immune system, and the synthesis of hormones and enzymes in the body.

Cysteine helps increase antioxidant levels and is an important factor in preventing premature ageing.

Choline plays an important role in the normal metabolism of lipids and homocysteine.

Inositol plays a role in maintaining healthy hair and skin.

Vitamins and minerals contribute to:

• maintaining healthy hair and nails: selenium, zinc

• normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and certain neurotransmitters: calcium pantothenate

• maintaining healthy mucous membranes and skin: nicotinamide, biotin

• normal collagen formation, protecting cells against oxidative stress and increasing iron absorption: vitamin C

• maintaining healthy skin: biotin, zinc

Revisan should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

All three medicines are mineral and vitamin complexes.

Unlike Revisan, Revisan Forte contains chromium, which is recommended for maintaining a balanced diet for people with diabetes, vitamins A and E, which protect the body's cells from oxidative stress, and magnesium, which is recommended for maintaining a healthy nervous system.

Revisan Cardio contains, in addition to the other two products, vitamins K and D, vitamins B1 and B2, for maintaining good cardiovascular health.
