Medochemie is a Cypriot company founded in 1976. The manufacturer focuses on the production of generics – cheap analogues of patented drugs, many of which are inaccessible to ordinary people due to their high price.

Medochemie operates nine modern high-tech pharmaceutical plants in Cyprus, one in the Netherlands and three in Vietnam. The wide geographical coverage of production allows the company to supply products worldwide – Medochemie is present in 107 countries, from Europe to Africa and the Far East. The company has offices in 20 countries.

The company manufactures medicines for 10 therapeutic categories, but the main focus is on the production and promotion of:

  • anti-infective drugs;
  • cardiology drugs;
  • drugs for the central nervous system.

Medochemie also produces supergenerics – analogues of patented drugs that have additional positive effects in addition to the main ones – as well as its own patented devices for the treatment of asthma. In total, the company's portfolio includes more than 630 product combinations.
