Aliamare

CE Medical Device, Class IIa.
Isotonic spray solution of sea water and sodium hyaluronate for daily hygiene of the nose and ears in children and adults.
Aliamare combines the beneficial, fluidifying properties of seawater from the Bréhat Archipelago, a Natura 2000 protected area in Brittany, with the action of hyaluronic acid, which, thanks to its ability to bind and retain water, hydrates the mucosa and promotes healing of any micro-lesions. Diluting the seawater to an isotonic concentration also makes Aliamare non-irritating.
Nose : promotes the elimination of excess secretions, provides prompt relief from dry mucous membranes, useful after nasal surgery.
Ear : prevents the formation of earwax plugs, helps keep the auditory canal clean in hearing aid wearers.

How to use
Use several times a day, as needed.
Remove the cap from the bottle and insert the dispenser button into the valve. Press the button to spray the product. After use, clean and dry the dispenser button.
Nose : The product can be used in any position. However, it is recommended to tilt your head to one side and spray the product into the opposite nostril for 2 seconds (e.g., tilt your head to the right and spray the product into the left nostril). Repeat this process in each nostril.
Ear : The product can be used in any position. However, we recommend tilting your head to one side, placing yourself over the sink, and spraying once or twice into the opposite ear from below. Wait a few seconds and dry gently.

Warnings
Do not use on infants unless otherwise advised by your pediatrician. The container is pressurized: protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures above 30°C. Do not use Aliamare if the canister is damaged. Once the product is used up, do not pierce or burn the canister. Once used, dispose of the canister according to standard municipal waste disposal regulations.
Keep out of reach of children.

Contraindications
Aliamare is contraindicated in patients with a history of otorrhea (inflammation of the ear canal), perforated eardrum, or chronic otitis media. No adverse effects have been reported with Aliamare.

Components
Each 100 ml can contains: sea water, sodium hyaluronate.

Format
A pressurized canister containing 100 ml of solution + 1 nasal spray nozzle and 1 ear spray nozzle, sterilized and sealed in bags. In this type of packaging, the solution is isolated from the propellant because it is contained in a non-toxic bag placed inside the metal bottle. The propellant is air, which is injected under pressure into the entire space surrounding the bag inside the metal bottle. The product is dispensed via a valve located above the bag.
This system uses air as a propellant: the product does not damage the ozone layer; there is no need for preservatives, thus reducing the risk of allergic reactions; and the bottle can be used in any direction.
