Description
Dietary food intended for special medical purposes, for the dietary treatment of phenylketonuria and hyperphenylalanine in children from the first year of life and in adults. Phenylalanine-free.

How to use
Dosage : as prescribed by the doctor, taking into account the patient's age, body weight and tolerance to phenylalanine.
Take the prescribed amount in 3-4 doses daily, in addition to other foods permitted by the diet. It can also be taken as a cold drink, initially dispersing the required powder in a small amount of water, then diluting further until the desired consistency and volume is achieved. Water or other permitted beverages, even flavored ones, can be used for dilution.
Once prepared, it is recommended to consume the drink within 1 hour.

Warnings
Afenil 2 should be used under medical supervision by individuals with known hyperphenylalaninemia, including phenylketonuria. Afenil 2 should not be used as a sole source of nutrition. The product may pose health risks if consumed by individuals who do not have the specific disorder for which it is indicated. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use intravenously.

Conservation
Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and direct sources of heat.
Shelf life in unopened packaging: 24 months.
After first opening, keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours.
