Option 1 - Precise line. Apply the product at the base of the lashes, extending outwards to form a tail. Apply to the outer half of the lower lashes for additional definition.
Option 2 - Smokey eyes. Apply the product to the base of the upper and lower lashes. Blend outwards, upwards using a brush or your fingers. Build intensity at the outer corner. You can apply highlighter to the inner corner using a light eyeshadow.
