Florentine iris powder (M - 1301), 10 g, Mayam

It can be used as a base for perfumed body powders, as a fixative in perfumes, for gentle exfoliation of sensitive skin and as an ingredient in toothpaste.
Iris Florentin powder or "Fleur de Lys", or Orris root as it is also called, is obtained from the dried rhizomes of the plant. In the Victorian period, the powder was loved for the flavor it imparted to sweets. It was also used in various medicinal applications.
Today it is especially an ingredient used in cosmetic applications and perfumery. It is used to fix the smell but also the color of perfumes, as an addition in potpourri compositions. It is also used as an ingredient in perfume powders and in certain toothpastes. It is a gentle teeth whitening agent, known for its successful use among smokers with yellowed teeth.

Method of obtaining:
By grinding the dry rhizomes.
