Starting bottle feeding can have negative effects on breastfeeding. \ \ use \ \ \ boil fresh clean water for 5 minutes & let it cool to 40°c so that the bifidus cultures remain unchanged when dissolving the powder. \ pour the required amount of boiled water (see the table with the reconstitution instructions) into the sterilized bottle. \ using the enclosed measuring cup, measure the correct amount of powder. \ “cut” the surface of each measuring cup with the back of a clean, dry knife and add to the bottle. \ close the bottle with the sterile cap and shake thoroughly until the powder is completely dissolved. \ remove the cap and insert the sterile nipple. \ allow the contents to cool (37°c). \ check the temperature by dropping a few drops on the inside of your wrist. \ \
