Description
Method of preparation: Boil for 15 minutes: 1 - 2 teaspoons per 2 dl of boiling water
Dosage: 1 to 3 times a day for 2 dl of infusion
Toxicity (harmfulness): in the indicated doses, the drug is harmless
Contraindications : None known
Active substances in the drug: essential oils (valeranon, valerenal) valepotriates 2% (valtrate, acevaltrate, isovaltrate)
European Pharmacopoeia: Valerianae radix (Ph.Eur.6.) The medicine must contain essential oils min. 3 ml/kg medicines and sesquiterpenic acids calculated as valerenic acid min. 0.1%
